Philthy In Philly

Our LA adventure was a whirlwind of family, football, and Hollywood. We kicked off Wednesday with a full travel day, picking up a rental car at Sixt, and being hosted by our Uncle Jake with some much needed California Chicken Café.

Disneyland Magic

Thursday was all about the magic of Disneyland in Cali. The park was less crowded than we anticipated, with manageable 40-minute standby times compared to the 3-hour waits we're used to in Orlando. We utilized the Lightning Lane Pass to book time slots for Rise of the Resistance. The park was divided into four quadrants: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland. We explored classic rides like Dumbo, Peter Pan, as well as attractions like Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones Adventure, and STAR WARS. We also enjoyed dining at River Bell Terrace Restaurant and exploring the unique shops and experiences throughout the park.

Hollywood Bound

On Friday, I visited iHeartRadio... The LA office was sick with a performance stage, rooftop lounge areas for clients, and a theater to host artists and special events. They hooked me up with a place to work; We embarked on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Warner Bros. Studio Lot nearby.

We explored iconic sets from beloved shows like "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory," as well as movies like "Batman" and even dating back to the 1930's "Hail, Caesar!" We walked the same streets used in countless movies and TV shows, from classic films like "Casablanca" and "Batman" to modern hits like Abbot Elementary, Shrinking and All American.

Beach Days and Family Fun

Saturday was a day of relaxation and family. We spent the day with my cousin at Santa Monica Pier, indulging in classic boardwalk treats like corndogs, tacos, funnel cake, and soaking up the sun. Later, we joined our extended family for a full on dinner party in Manhattan Beach with around 20 family members. It was the perfect fuel for the next day... GAMEDAY!

Game Day Glory

Sunday, The day we had all been waiting for: Eagles vs. Rams. We started the day by running into Mark Ruffalo and later learned he was raising money for charity. We headed to the pink lot tailgate, where we met up with Aaron from West Coast Swoop Nation. I got tickets with my family members and friend @23Drese. The tailgate was a blast, with delicious food, drinks, and great company.... We even saw Jason Kelce, More eagles fans than rams fans, Modelo Cheladas rimmed with tajin, the list goes on!

The game itself was a thrilling back-and-forth battle, with the Eagles overcoming numerous challenges, offsetting penalities and ultimately securing the win. The "Eagles Nest West" aka Sofi has an awesome underground design. The crowd made it feel like a home game. We sat in the 200 level and witnessed the Eagles' dominant performance, with an historic game from Saquon (305 yards) or should I say ShayShawn Broccoli.

Our LA adventure was a perfect blend of family, fun, and football. We made unforgettable memories and experienced the best of what the city has to offer. You can't see it all so we will be back to explore other parts of LA, including Malibu and More!
